BaPuLien - the first White Crane Form or 'Eight Continuous Steps' is the form that the Kata 'Sanchin' is based on.
This form is inspired by the 'call of the crane' and develops power based on the breathing.
It was
taken into the white crane system before the time of master Huangs teacher, Xie Zhongxian - more than 100 years ago.
The San Feng Kuai Chuan or'Quick Fist' is Master Huang's fast form adapted from the Fourth Set of the Fujian White Crane System.
Master Huang never told his students the name of Xie Zhongxian's teacher. The quickfist is also referred to as "eating crane" (crane fights with its beak). "Breathing crane" and " Feeding Crane" are included.
